Who I am

What I collect, and why

When you get in touch. The contact form asks for your name, organisation, email address and what you want to talk about. I use it to answer you, and for nothing else. The same goes for email. The basis for this is your own request to get in touch.

When you say yes to cookies. Google Analytics counts which pages are read, from which kind of device, roughly from which country or city, and how people found the site. I use it to see what is useful. The basis for this is your consent. Say no, and nothing is counted.

Movements. When you request access to Movements, the form (also Tally) asks for your name, email address and, if you like, your organisation. I use it to send you Movements, and for nothing else. The basis for this is your own request.

Who else sees it

Only the services that make this work: Tally, which runs the contact and Movements forms; Google, for Analytics (which may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework); and my hosting provider. Nobody else. I never sell data, and I do not use it for advertising.

How long I keep it

Messages: as long as we are in touch, and at most two years after the last contact, unless we end up working together. Then invoices and agreements are kept for the seven years Dutch tax law requires. Analytics data: 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what I have about you, to get a copy of it, or object to how I use it. I reply within a month. You can change your cookie choice any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. And if you think I handle your data badly, you can complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority.
