Mad Tea.

By Polle de Maagt · First written · 4 min read

Mad Tea is a fast round of conversations in two circles. People pair up, finish an open sentence or answer a question together in two minutes, then the outer circle moves on. Twenty minutes, a dozen conversations, and a room that has warmed up around the real topic.

When do I use it?

I use it with groups of 10 to 50 people. It is a very fast way to let people catch up with each other on learnings, to learn quickly from opinions that differ from your own, and to condense opinions.

The name comes from the Mad Hatter’s tea party, where everyone keeps moving one place on.
