FIGHTING UNREMARKABLE AUTO REPLIES SINCE 2010

They’re arguably the worst thing that ever happened to mankind – auto replies. Join my fight to get rid of unremarkable out-of-office replies and other auto replies. To help, I’ve collected some great positive exceptions, starting with the one below. Let’s turn automatic into automagic.

There is a thin line between helping your contacts and spamming them. I guess all of us had just a few too many emails from people who had exported all their LinkedIn contacts to spam them with a new business opportunity.

Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten found a creative new way to promote the (amazing)  The Next Web TNW conference in 2018 when his “personal assistant” Jarvis started emailing his Linkedin contacts. A clever way to use a “spokesperson” to deflect the “upfrontness” of spamming your Linkedin contact list.

My name is Jarvis and I’m Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten’s personal assistant. He asked me to go through his Linkedin connections to see who would be interested in visiting our upcoming conference in May in Amsterdam: https://thenextweb.com/conference
Do let me know if you’re considering joining us so I can help you get set up.
All the best,
Jarvis Jeeves
Personal Assistant at TNW
See you at “The most intimate digital technology festival on the planet” (according to CNBC) in May? https://thenextweb.com/conference
